Stay Curious This Winter: 2026 WaterWatch Lecture Series

Join NSRWA and Mass Audubon for the 2026 WaterWatch Lecture Series! This winter, explore local rivers, coastal habitats, and wildlife through engaging weekly presentations offered both in-person and via Zoom. Lectures run January 13 – March 4, with time for Q&A at the end of each session.

• Tuesday, January 13 – Building the Resilience of Eelgrass Meadows: Live at The Raw Bar at Island Creek. Learn how eelgrass supports coastal ecosystems and survives human and climate pressures with Dr. Alyssa Novak. Includes oysters and light fare.

• Wednesday, January 21 – South River: Past, Present & Future: Live at Mass Audubon North River Sanctuary. Explore the history of the South River, dam removal, and what lies ahead for this treasured watershed.
