Snow Is Melting... South Shore Spring Events Are Heating Up
It’s still chilly across the South Shore, but the snowbanks are finally starting to shrink: A sure sign that spring isn’t too far off. This week’s headlines include Abington volunteers honoring Purple Heart veterans, a major new housing development approved in Braintree, and exciting new shops and restaurants coming to Hanover Crossing. We’re also celebrating four new Milton firefighters who recently graduated from the Massachusetts Firefighting Academy after winter storms delayed their ceremony. And while St. Patrick’s Day is here, some of the biggest parades are now set for April after being postponed by the winter weather. From road races and concerts to community celebrations, there’s plenty to look forward to in the weeks ahead. Scroll down for this week’s highlights and upcoming events across the South Shore.
