  • Braintree: South Shore Plaza in Braintree is adding two creative new stores just in time for the holidays: POP MART and Rolife. POP MART, known for its collectible “blind box” art toys, opens later this month, while Rolife debuts its first Massachusetts flagship on November 15 with giveaways and DIY fun.   • Hull:The Procopio Companies have officially broken ground on “Paragon,” a $65 million mixed-use project on the former Paragon Boardwalk site in Hull.   • NSRWA Walking Club – Alton Smith Reserve in Hanson: Saturday, November 15, 10:00 AM – 11:30 AM – Hanson: Explore Alton Smith Reserve, Sleeper Conservation Area, and part of J. J. Shepherd Memorial Forest with Walking Club Coordinator Steve French and guest host Dave Mansfield. This mostly flat, 1–2 mile walk passes restored wetlands, Indian Head Pond, and trails connected to the Bay Circuit Trail, offering chances to spot ducks, herons, and bald eagles. The walk is dog-free, and parking is at Camp Kiwanee (460 Indian Head St, Hanson; use the beach lot across from the guardhouse). – North and South Rivers Watershed Association

This 1.5-mile walk encourages mindfulness and appreciation of nature’s sounds, sights, and smells. The route includes some steep or uneven terrain; dogs are not permitted. Parking is at Pembroke Community Middle School, 559 School Street. – North and South Rivers Watershed Association

  • Guided Walk: Donovan Fields and Wildcat Brook: Monday, November 17, 1:30 PM – 3:30 PM – Norwell: Join NSRWA’s Kezia Bacon and Brian Taylor for a guided walk along Wildcat Brook and the Donovan Fields trails. Learn about the brook’s watershed, its history, and local conservation efforts while exploring a scenic 1.2-mile route on mostly flat terrain. Some areas may be muddy or uneven, and van transportation is available from the Norwell COA, where hot cocoa will be served afterward. – North and South Rivers Watershed Association
