  • Carver: Step back in time! King Richard's Faire has moved its legendary renaissance festival to a new, larger home at the former Edaville Family Theme Park in Carver. With a ribbon-cutting ceremony officially celebrating the move, the Faire's 44th season promises a "new realm" with enhanced accessibility and new attractions.   • Duxbury: After years of planning, the iconic Powder Point Bridge in Duxbury is set to be replaced, with construction slated to begin in 2027.   • Weymouth: Hundreds of horseshoe crab shells are washing up on Massachusetts beaches, and officials say it's a completely normal occurrence. These are not dead crabs, but rather exoskeletons that have been shed during the molting process, a sign of a healthy and growing population.   • Making Waves: Thursday, September 4 and Friday, September 5, 4:00 PM - 9:00 PM - Hingham: Untold Brewing presents a waterfront beer garden series at the Hingham Maritime Center. The event will feature live music from Anna Daley Young and food from Al's BBQ. Tickets are $25 and include a $15 donation to the Hingham Maritime Center and your first drink. - Hingham Maritime Center

  • Boots, Paws & Pints: Friday, September 5, 12:00 PM - 10:00 PM - Plymouth: Untold Brewing is hosting a fundraiser for Guardian Revival, a non-profit that supports the mental health of military personnel, veterans, first responders, and their families. For every pint sold, $1 will be donated to Guardian Revival's Boots & Paws program, which provides trained dogs for companionship. From 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM, Mea Thai Cuisine will be on-site, donating $1 from every pad thai dish and offering a 10% discount to all first responders. - Untold Brewing

  • 18th-Century Epitaphs on Burial Hill: Saturday, September 6, 1:00 PM - 2:00 PM - Plymouth: Join Dr. Anne Mason, Curator of Pilgrim Hall Museum, for a guided one-hour tour of Burial Hill. She will highlight both common and unusual epitaphs on 18th-century gravestones, offering clues to the attitudes of the time.   • Beach Ball 2025: Saturday, September 6, 6:00 PM EDT - Duxbury: Celebrate and support the Duxbury Beach Reservation's mission to protect and preserve Duxbury Beach. The event features entertainment, dancing, Montilio's wood-grilled pizza and desserts, and a raffle with prizes including gift cards, sports tickets, and more.
